South Haven, MI 49090 Tony Brush has been running the farm since 1993, when he became partners with his father. The farm has been in the family starting with his grandparents. We grow vegetables and grain, with cucumbers being our main crop. We normally employ 60 employees during the season. Our types of employment are hoeing, picking, packing, grading and sorting of our farm grown crops. Our employment starts with hoeing in June, cucumbers from July to September, and squash from September to October. Workers are guaranteed to be paid the Michigan minimum wage. Pickers are paid $.70 per bushel with a $.05 bonus if they stay until we are done picking. We have approved housing with 12 units for 63 employees. Our units are for families and singles and the employees pay for bottle gas for stoves and hot water heaters. If interested contact: DHS |
