Ebers Orchards has been growing apples north of Grand Rapids, Michigan for more than 50 years. Most of our orchards have semi-dwarf trees, with our largest apple variety being red delicious. We normally hire close to 20 seasonal workers for our operation..

Our approved housing is easily accessible and quite private, located away from the road and farm buildings. We make every effort to provide a clean and desirable labor camp, and we do not charge for housing for our workers.

Our season starts after September 1, with the apple harvest season ending around the end of October. The pay scale is based on piece work at competitive rates in the area, always at least minimum wage per hour. In our area, there are migrant health services, day care services and food markets only three miles from the orchards in the small town of Sparta.
