Crop: We grow 60 acres of summer squash and zucchini, and 70 acres of 12 different varieties of hard squash (Minnie pumpkin, ornamental gourd) and 95 acres of apples.

Type of Work: Some of the jobs we need workers for are: hoeing, harvesting of squash and apples.

Season: We start our season around the 15th of June with hoeing summer squash and zucchini and 12 different varieties of hard squash. Harvesting of squash will follow from June to the first week of September. Apple harvest begins in August between crops and will last until approximately the first week of November; we employ 20-30 workers during the harvest season.

Wages: Hourly work will be paid, starting at $7.00 an hour and will be increasing to $7.50 after July 1st. Apples are paid by the box ($11 per 18/Bu Bin).

Amenities: We have approved housing available for 30 people. Laundry facilities are available at the main camp. Schooling, day care and a health clinic are available within the area. There is also a 24 hour Wal-Mart in town.
