Sparta  Local Office Report July 2010 The agriculture season is still slow here in the Sparta area. Agriculture job opportunities are limited. The asparagus packing shed has ended, the strawberry harvest and cherry harvest has ended for the season. Not sure if the cold and then hot weather will affect the up coming crops for the season. The blueberries in the area expected to start around July 6, 2010. There is no approved housing available. Please contact your local agricultural employment specialist for further information.
